Author Kate Payne presents The Hip Girl's Guide to Homemaking
Guided craft activity and demonstration

Brooklyn-based writer Kate Payne is the creator of the Hip Girl’s Guide to Homemaking blog and the brand-new book of the same name, a savvy motivational guide that offers 20- and 30-somethings improvisational solutions to either no money/no space dilemmas around the house, shows readers that “thoughtful” is just as accessible as “convenient.” Attendees of tonight’s event will have the opportunity to create a simple craft project with Kate’s guidance; all materials are provided! Kate will also bring samples of homemade food projects and talk about other projects to try at home. A percentage of proceeds from sales of The Hip Girl’s Guide to Homemaking will be donated to the New York Writers Coalition, a local nonprofit where Kate leads writing workshops!
